Revenue Share Program
Refer agents. Earn every time they close. Grey Square’s Revenue Share Program lets you build passive income by growing the brokerage — with earnings on up to three tiers of production.
The short version: When you refer an agent to Grey Square and they close transactions, you earn a percentage of the company dollar (the brokerage’s portion of their commissions) — across up to three levels of referrals. All four Grey Square agent structures are eligible from day one.
What Is the “Company Dollar”?
Every time a Grey Square agent closes a transaction, the brokerage earns its split — 15% of the net commission (until the agent caps). That 15% is the company dollar. Revenue share is calculated as a percentage of that company dollar — not the total commission. This means your earnings scale directly with the productivity of the agents you bring in.
Three Tiers of Earning
Agents you personally refer to Grey Square. You earn 5% of the company dollar on every transaction they close.
Agents referred by your Tier 1 agents. You earn 4% of the company dollar on their transactions.
Agents referred by your Tier 2 agents. You earn 3% of the company dollar on their transactions.
Example: What Does This Look Like in Practice?
| Transaction gross commission | $12,000 |
| Company dollar (15% brokerage split) | $1,800 |
| Your Tier 1 revenue share (5% of $1,800) | $90.00 |
| Your Tier 2 revenue share (4% of $1,800) | $72.00 |
| Your Tier 3 revenue share (3% of $1,800) | $54.00 |
Revenue share is calculated per transaction per active agent in your network. With multiple agents closing multiple deals, these amounts compound quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible for the Revenue Share Program?
All four Grey Square agent structures — Independent Agent, Team Agent GS, Team Leader, and Team Member — are eligible to participate in the Revenue Share Program from the moment they execute their ICA. There is no minimum production requirement to begin earning on referrals.
How does the percentage get calculated exactly?
Revenue share is calculated as a percentage of the company dollar — the brokerage’s share of a referred agent’s commission. For example, if your Tier 1 agent closes a deal where Grey Square earns $1,500 (its 15% portion), you receive 5% of that $1,500, which is $75. The calculation is straightforward and based entirely on what the brokerage earns, not what the agent earns.
Does revenue share stop when a referred agent caps?
Yes. Revenue share is calculated on the company dollar — the 15% brokerage split. Once a referred agent reaches their annual cap ($12,000 or $6,000 for Team Members), Grey Square no longer collects a percentage split from that agent’s transactions (only the $150 post-cap transaction fee). Accordingly, revenue share based on their production pauses until their new anniversary year begins and the 15% split resumes.
What if the agent I referred then refers other agents?
That creates your Tier 2 earning layer. Every agent your Tier 1 referral brings into Grey Square generates 4% of the company dollar for you on their transactions. And if those Tier 2 agents refer agents, those become your Tier 3 layer at 3%. The network grows but your earnings floor is established at the moment each agent joins through your referral tree.
How do I track my revenue share earnings?
Grey Square tracks all revenue share activity in our internal system. You can request a summary of your revenue share earnings and your referral network at any time by contacting your brokerage coordinator. Payouts are tracked per transaction with a full audit trail.
Does this affect my own commission structure at all?
No. Your own 85/15 split, annual cap, monthly fee, and all other terms of your ICA are completely separate from the Revenue Share Program. Revenue share is additive income that has no impact on your personal transaction economics.
