How Grey Square collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, contact our agents, or engage us in a real estate transaction.

LAST UPDATED · APRIL 30, 2026

Grey Square Real Estate, LLC ("Grey Square," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through greysq.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

If you have questions about this policy or a specific request — to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — write to privacy@greysq.com.

01 · SECTION

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you fill out a contact form, request a property guide, schedule a showing, or send us a message — typically your name, email, phone number, and the content of your message.

We also collect information automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from your IP. This is collected via standard log files and analytics tools described below.

Real-estate transactions involve additional information collected through our brokerage software and our title and escrow partners — financial qualification documents, identity verification, transaction history. That information is governed by our brokerage privacy notice, available on request.

02 · SECTION

How we use your information

  • Respond to your inquiry and connect you with the right agent.
  • Send property listings, market updates, and the relocation or buyer guide you requested.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website — measure which pages people use, fix what's broken, and decide what to build next.
  • Comply with our legal obligations under Texas and California real estate law, including record retention, anti-money-laundering, and fair-housing regulations.
03 · SECTION

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers that help us operate the business — email delivery, CRM, analytics, hosting — under contracts that limit how they may use it.

We share information with the agent you choose to work with, and during a transaction with the cooperating brokerage, title company, lender, inspector, and other professionals required to close.

We disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Grey Square, our clients, or the public.

04 · SECTION

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may break parts of the site.

We use Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing under California law, even though we do not sell personal information.

05 · SECTION

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, delete it, opt out of marketing, or restrict how we process it. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@greysq.com from the address on file or call 214.416.9016. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeline required by applicable law (typically 45 days).

06 · SECTION

Security and retention

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information — TLS in transit, encryption at rest, access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we do not guarantee that information transmitted to us cannot be intercepted.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (Texas requires brokerage records be kept four years; California requires three), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

07 · SECTION

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

08 · SECTION

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve or the law requires. The "Last updated" stamp at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.

09 · SECTION

SMS and phone communications

By providing your phone number through any Grey Square form, you consent to receive calls and SMS text messages from Grey Square and its agents regarding your real estate inquiry — listings, market updates, and the services you have requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Opt out of marketing email by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message we send. Transactional messages tied to an active transaction may continue regardless.
